Before you begin ...
Rooms are only available to rent by Town agencies, Reading non-profit groups and Reading residents.
The meeting, event or program must serve an educational, cultural, or civic purpose to the community.
Meetings, events or programs are open to the public.
Applicants do not charge any fees for registration or attendance, with the exception
of Library fundraising activities which require permission from the Board of Library Trustees.
Payment is due within 48 hours of notification of approval.
Rooms may be booked at least 5 business days and a maximum of 3 months in advance of the event.
Conference Room
- Maximum capacity 25 people.
- Base rental fee* includes 6 tables and chairs as shown.
- Laptop/wireless access to SmartTV and hybrid options are available.
- Kitchen access is available for an additional fee of $10.
*Does not include additional or alternative set up of table and chairs, or any technical assistance.
Community Room A
- Maximum capacity 50 people.
- Base rental fee* includes 30 chairs, 5 tables, podium w/ microphone, and access to projector and screen.
- Hybrid Meetings via Zoom are available.
- Community Room A & B can be booked individually or as one large room.
- Kitchen access is available for an additional fee of $10.
*Does not include any set up of table and chairs, or any technical assistance.
Community Room B
- Maximum capacity 50 people.
- Base rental fee* includes 30 chairs, 5 tables. AV equipment is not available if reserving only Room B.
- Community Room A & B can be booked individually or as one large room.
- Kitchen access is available for an additional fee of $10.
