Whether you are a kid, a teen, or an adult, we've got a summer reading program for you!
- What: Adult Summer Reading BINGO!
- When: June 14 – August 9
- Who: Readers age 18 and older are invited to explore all the library has to offer through fun activities, interesting resources, and diverse reads and play BINGO for a chance to win prizes!
- How: Complete a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line (BINGO) to be entered into prize drawings! Complete every space on a BINGO card and be entered to win a $100 grand prize gift card to Market Basket! Finish and submit as many BINGO cards as you like all summer.
- Get blank BINGO cards HERE or grab one at the Research & Reader Services Desk.
- Submit your FINISHED BINGO cards through the form below or turn them in at the Research & Reader Services Desk.
- Don’t miss the Adult Summer Reading Kickoff event — Summer Sizzlers Booktalks — featuring a cash bar full of mocktails sponsored by the Friends of the Reading Public Library.
- Stick with Summer Reading. Children entering grades K-6 can participate in the Children’s Summer Reading Program. Stop by the Children’s Room to pick up your supplies on or after Friday, June 14.
- Can You Spot Spot? Children of any age can try to find our 4-foot tall giraffe hiding around town! When you find him, stop in to earn a raffle ticket for a chance to win a portable karaoke machine. This program runs June 14-July 26.
Teen Summer Reading Program: Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead* begins on Friday, June 14 and ends on Friday, August 9.
- Teens entering grades 6-12 will be able to explore all things related to science and art! By attending programs and
writing book reviews teens can earn raffle tickets to be entered to win one of 3 raffle prizes. - Submit a book review HERE.
