Whether you are a kid, a teen, or an adult, we’ve got a summer reading program for you!

Find Your Voice begins on Tuesday, June 20 at 9 am. You can start participating at any point during the summer. Just be sure to log your final time by 5 pm on Saturday, August 12.

 

“Find Your Voice” summer reading program is sponsored by the Friends of the Reading Public Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and the Boston Bruins.

Hey Adults! Summer Reading begins on June 20. To participate, you may fill out a form online or at the Research & Reader Services Desk to enter into a raffle to possibly win a brand-new book! Raffles will be drawn on July 7, July 28, and August 11. And don’t miss the Adult Summer Reading Kickoff event — Summer Sizzlers Booktalks — featuring a cash bar full of mocktails sponsored by the Friends of the Reading Public Library.
Children birth through Grade 6 can participate in the Children’s Summer Reading Program. Stop by the Children’s Room to pick up your scratch-off booklet on or after Tuesday, June 20.
 
This summer, Find Your Voice by answering questions about yourself, and scratching off and completing activities. The more activities you complete, the more prizes you can earn!

 

Teens in grades 6-12 can participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program. Stop by the Teen Room or the Research and Reader Services desk to get your Find Your Voice pamphlet on or after June 20th.

 

This summer, Find Your Voice by attending programs, writing book reviews, and voting for your favorite book from the Mass Teen Choice Book Award nominees. The more you participate, the more raffle tickets you can earn!
