Assistive Technology Tools at the RPL

The Reading Public Library has a variety of tools to help those with vision and hearing needs.

We offer Fusion with JAWS at a public workstation on the main floor of the library. It is located close to the Research and Reader’s Services desk. This software provides screen magnification, visual enhancements, and a screen reader for those with low vision. Please ask the Research and Reader’s Services desk for a set of headphones to use the screen reader.

We also have Assistive Listening Devices for those attending programs in our Community Room.   If you would like to borrow an assistive listening device/receiver, please contact the library at 781-944-0840 or rdgadmin@noblenet.org and ask for an assistive listening device.

For more information about all our assistive technology tools, please visit this page on our website.
